Thursday 13: Life in pictures

Hello! In case you wonder, despite being deep inside dissertation land, I am, in fact, alive. Barely, thank you sleep deprivation and hay fever, but still breathing.

To prove it, please enjoy Thursday 13 photos of life lately. To keep this blog within my 15 minute break-and-then-back-to-writing parameters, forgive me for being short on words.

1. Beauty
2. My thoughts on braces
3. Where the magic happens
4. Love
5. Things you don't see everyday
6. Dissertation diet
 7. Joy
 8. Being envious of a dog
9. Consequences.
 10. Old carrots.
11. Love.
12. Work cut out for me
13. Hope

  1. I have been following your blog Shawna for about a week or so, you remind me very much of my daughter whom is currently in the midst of comps and completing a PhD at the University of Toronto. Best of luck completing your dissertation. You can do it!

    1. Thank you Lorraine! What is your daughter studying?

  2. What is that, a Crocus? It'll be another 2 months before we spot any of them up here.

    1. Tulip, actually. I planted bulbs on January first and they're just peeking out.
